I have tried to play Kingdom Rush many times, but I suck at it sooooo bad! Is there anyone out there who can give some helpful tips to being a better Kingdom Rusher?
I love the game, i just can't get very far which is discouraging.
meteors good mage and artillery are good to a point and then go about 2-3 in each of the others, and if you havent tryed archers and warrior combo yet there awesome and also check out the strategy guide unless your just doing this for ap and some suggestions?
Archers and Mages are a good combination. But on some levels (Like the third.) Bombards are good. It just depends on which level you are doing. Just experiment.
I really like the meteors and they are really helpful. I never really used the bombard guys much. I would go into mage and barracks units. Put the mage behind the barrack units so that the mage can attack when the enemy is fighting your barrack units.
It depends on the level that you're doing, but I find that mages and artillery tend to work the best. Sometimes, for levels which have fast-moving ground enemies, it helps to use barracks and reinforcements. The Rain of Fire spell is really important to upgrade as its decreased reload time and other abilities are highly effective on almost any type of troop.
I would focus on reinforcements and rain of fire first, then go for upgrades that decrease cost. After that just go for the ones that seem good for the level you are on.
I maxed out reinforcements, then barracks, then meteors, then mages. By then, I didn't need any more upgrades, and I only bought mage towers and knight barracks.
I beat the game, My main concept, was mainly upgrade the Barracks, and put the buildings where ALL enemies have to walk by, usually the end. So that you don't have to split the money/buildings between 2 areas. And for the upgrading, I'd do reinforcements, Always send them out when they're ready, and surround the barracks with a lot of archery/distance men. So that the barracks can slow down the enemies while they get hit by the archery, good luck
I had trouble with it to, just keep trying different combinations and see which works out the best. I was using a certain method but I only used it because the units look cool and it was not effective.
