A wee query to people living in Amsterdam. I'm going on the 15th june for 3 nights with 3 friends, Looking a youth hostel or rooms to rent. As cheap as possible.
Please no links to a google search: i've already scanned a lot of websites, but i know from experience in Amsterdam you there are hidden gems. Unfortunately the place i usually stay isn't available for the dates i'm going.
So any cheap as heck hostels/b&bs etc that yous know of would be appreciated :]
Amsterdam doesn't seem that big. Do you have to be literally in Amsterdam or just close to it? Just asking because it might help other people. You hit one of the few parts of the US that I know the least about.
That's what I thought. I would think it would be pretty easy to find a cheap place to stay for a few nights, Amsterdam is one of the more visited cities for young travellers and backpackers, but for specifics, you should probably hope for our resident Dutchman to come along and give you his wise words.
Had it been Denmark... I would probably have been just as useless.
So I don't look like a 100% idiot this is what I thought at first too. But then I knew that Shona was supposed to go to the USA and thought maybe there was an Amsterdam there. Apparently there is.
I live in holland and I think you can find a cheap place easily. I would look on the site of the municipality. You can find links to other sites there.
