Any religous sect a scam?

best example of a scam religion is probably scientology.

alot on scams are based on religious believes.
and i think there are 2 reasons for that.

1. religion text can be interpreted in many different ways, so it's easy to build some more BS next to the already existing BS.

2. people that follow the/a religion are people that are very easly scammed. giving instandly a big group of potentinal people you can rip money from.
