you already heard about it that alot of species are in danger because of the hunting on them. maybe it could happend that we can't eat meat in long couple of years. but every human needs meat, you can survive without it, but i think the world would be in chaos. like no hamburgers, no fancy diners, less choices in restaurants or even no restaurants at all, and you can't forever live on vegetables. even an child needs meat so it keeps growing. i've read on discovery one time that they are trying too solve this problem with clones. clone animals so we can eat them, but they don't work perfectly and it cost much too clone an animal. and its hard too clone so much too feed the world of it. so what's the best way too solve this problem?
Im not particularly against animals but i just enjoy eating meat. Im sure that if the positions were reversed and animals found humans tasty they would much us down without a second thought
We CAN live as vegetarians. I know quite a few and all of them, as long as they get plenty of protein (nuts, etc.) are healthier than they were when they ate meat.
The REAL dilemma would be that without a large enough supply of food, people would have to convert to VEGANISM. Without the calcium provided from livestock, kids' bones would easily become frail unless their mothers breast-feed them until they were at least fifteen. Of course, women wouldn't want the side effects of such an act, and fewer and fewer women will give birth to children. Eventually, there would be an underpopulation crisis. By then, all animals that provide meat would be extinct, providing no way for civilization to bounce back.
Let's hope for the best about the problem of a looming food shortage.
I think the best way would to have either more farms to breed more animals to eat, or to put more laws into act to protect animals from getting eaten. Like the law that you can't hunt certain animals if their not in season. And if nothing is done about it, I would think that everyone would live on vitamins their whole life because there would be no food to get nutrients. And we are buying more and more farming land and building more and more houses. Now I know that you can't stop people from reproducing but maybe we need to cultivate the moon? Because we NEED more space... We're already over populated.
