Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...
If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.
My favorite one out of all of these has to be the dead guy in the coffin (you could say it...takes the cake?). What better way to remember a dead relative than to carve up his body and eat it?
You have to have a pretty sick sense of humor to enjoy one of these!
I fall under that category.
Those are just a few more of the thousands of awesome cakes that once existed.
I saw a cake irl that looked exactly like a ny giants helmate (I'm from ny, we see that here.) I also saw one that looked like a Yankees baseball cap. I will see if I can get a picture. The crazy part is that the giants one was about 250 dollars. The Yankees one was about 170.
Maybe it's just slightly flavoured, I don't know. For me fish and the main ingredients of an ice-cream don't go well together. However, I wouldn't say no to this impressive octopus cake.
Found it! Also spotted Pacman, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Tetris, Space Invaders (not the whole set haha), Pong, Berserk, Asteroids, and many others that are way too obvious to mention!
What I don't get, though, is that there are two identical "DM" cupcakes in the cartoon set... really they couldn't think of one more thing to add instead of just another identical cupcake? =P
The Space Invaders cupcakes look great. I don't think I played that game when I was young, but I used to watch Sesame Street a lot. I'm sure I would've loved to eat a cupcake like this:
While I was looking for that cupcake, I came across some strange cookies:
I'm really tempted to make these bacon shaped cookies. I found the recipe. It doesn't seem extremely complicated, but the process is a bit long. We'll see.

That's an impressive design. I don't know if I would ever have been able to eat Cookie Monster's head, but I do give props to whoever made that mouth just the right size for the cookie.
I found this video while searching for the recipe. Certainly not the same Sesame Street I remember growing up with.

I found the recipe too, and I was disappointed by the lack of bacon in the actual cookies. I don't think I could handle the disappointment of biting into something bacon-shaped and not tasting any bacon.

I knew some of you would be disappointed by that, especially because I've noticed the obsession you have with bacon. However, you can add some bacon to the cookies. Or bacon aroma, though I don't think you can buy this in every shop.
