Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...
If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.
So I was thinking about chocolate due to Ernie's Irish Cream Truffles:
That doesn't look even remotely like chocolate. I'd believe it if it were intended to be meatloaf-shaped.
Roast turkey Doritos!
Out of all the meats to choose from, they decide to go with one with very little potential for artificial flavoring. I wouldn't be surprised if it just tasted like smoke seasoning and salt.
I wonder where I can locate a spaghetti sandwich in my area. Those things look delicious.
Can't you make one yourself? Make spaghetti and sandwich it up?
Pfft, please. I'd rather have someone else make it for me.
I have actually had yogurt flavored "soda" as in it would be a carbonated yogurt drink. It's called doogh.
That's the noise I would probably make if I ever drank it. "Doogh!" *spits out drink*
It does say Doritos on it.
Teriyaki chicken pizza is weird enough as it is. Using it as a flavor for corn chips puts me at a loss for words.
Welcome Souvenir To Las Vegas! Spare Ribs Flavored!
Between the cliche casino artwork and the idea of having a meat-flavored chip, the Japanese have done a pretty good job making that flavor look delicious. In reality, it's probably no different from the standard barbeque flavor.
Also I don't know whether to believe this one, or not:
Speak for yourself! I'd like to say that I'd eat just about anything, but I wouldn't eat that for any price! Eeeeeehhwww... at least the fried sandwich has the fried flavor to mask whatever a brain tastes like! =P
I actually went ahead and tasted some of those ridiculous flavors they've been making for the sake of the contest in potatoe chips land and the desired (no not really) flavor to tryout was... Aioli e Aglio!
(It's the middle one btw...)
My test results were short and clear... YUCH! (@.@)
There's so much, literally TOO much, garlic stuffed into those chips you would only have to show them to Count Dracula and he would desintegrate on the spot!! (o.O)
For me, the Aioli e Aglio chips are really appetizing. Where I live we make a sauce with garlic, olive oil and yolk, so I would definitely eat those chips if they were available here.
Anyway, I found a few more strange flavours: kiwi, cucumber and lemon.
While eating breakfast this morning, I started to wonder if salt flavored ice cream exists (don't ask how or why I thought of that, my mind works weird in the morning.) So I decided to get on Google and found some. That would be unbearable to eat. =P
