Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...

I found another drink with floating things inside. It is made of basil seeds.
That basil drink. I've had that before. It tastes bad, but supposedly good with having a cold.

Nope it is Persian. I believe once it was mean to say Gourmet, but not it's pronounced Ghormeh Sabzi, which means Gourmet Vegetable. Like you said...

I googled it because I had no idea what it was. Maybe the mixture is a bit strange, but it doesn't look bad. It's definitely something I would eat if I had the chance.

Honestly, I'd try them. I've tried shrimp chips before and I liked them, so maybe these octopus chips aren't very different. But I may be wrong...
However, I'm not sure I would try this octopus ice cream. I'm a bit tired of the usual ice cream flavours (mint, chocolate, ...), but I think this is too much for me.

There are some foods in this world that are far more bizarre than octopus ice cream or canned pork brains. It's all about presentation, in this case.
Each of the following images is a real cake. Don't worry, every gruesome thing you see in these pictures is an edible food product. No people or animals were harmed in the making of these cakes. That is, none that wouldn't be harmed in the making of a normal cake.
Now just imagine what it would be like to cut into any one of these cakes.

I don't think you're alone on that one. I would have an easier time cutting a piece of Lego head than I would human head (or dog head).
Even if I liked cheese, I don't think I'd ever be able too eat it if it were shaped like Steve Jobs' head.

Why would someone make a cake that looks like any of those? (With the exception of the Lego guy.) Seems pretty disgusting... I don't think I could eat any of those. (Again, with the exception of the Lego guy.)
Wow, some of these cakes are just unbelievable! I don't think I could eat any of them, especially not the human ones! The only ones I could see myself even CUTTING would be the Lego guy, the python, the pedobear (lol), the octopus, the poop (hopefully it's a cake haha), and maybe the dead crow... the others I don't think I'd be able to touch! Haha
The baby ones are the worst!
You have to have a pretty sick sense of humor to enjoy one of these!
