Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...
If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.
I dreamed last night about Dr Pepper Raspberry, but I woke up before I got a chance to taste it. This is the closest thing real life has to offer:
I haven't tasted that one, either. Still don't know where it's sold or if it's still on the market.
Why are they the only ones who have come up with the shrimp patty?
It's probably expensive to have shrimp on the menu in most places in the world where fast food is popular, and most people who want shrimp want it in some form other than a fried patty on a McDonald's sandwich.
The only flavor variations that are still available anywhere in the world are Cherry and Cherry Vanilla.
Cherry isn't much different from the standard flavor. I still haven't found cherry vanilla anywhere, must only be available in certain parts of the country, like the cherry dessert topper.
But that's disappointing to hear about Berries & Cream. After all, I'm a little lad who loves Berries & Cream.
I don't know how I feel about McSpaghetti from the Philippines...
Without that disgusting fake-looking cheese substitute, that actually looks decent. Spaghetti with marinara is a simple favorite of mine, and somehow I feel that not even McDonald's would be able to screw it up completely.
But the Samurai Pork burger would be first on my list in Thailand!
Scrap the mayo or whatever the hell that white stuff is and you've got an Asian McRib.
Wouldn't it be awesome to have an "international" McDonald's somewhere that served McDonald's menu items from around the world? Hell, I'd eat there every day if they had a more diversified menu.
I'm sure the Indian menu would be especially popular.
And how could you say no to a McBeer?
Good ol' Germany. What I want to know is, do they use brand name beer or do they have their own McDonald's brewery?
I live in Canada and I've been eating ketchup chips my entire life; I just found out last year that they don't have them in the States, and, it just blows my mind to think of not having ketchup chips. Like, imagine if the next morning just, ham, or Coca Cola, or cereal stopped existing. =S
I always thought that pizza with pineapple was an exotic food and also a bit strange, but I changed my mind when I saw a picture of something called Chocolate pizza. It is topped with chocolate chunks, melted marshmallows, candied hazelnut and peanut butter.
And there is also the Chocolate burger with strawberry "ketchup" and vanilla cream "mustard". I'm really hungry right now...

I like ketchup, and I can eat a few straight spoonfuls of it, but I don't know about chips that taste like it. Might as well squirt the bottle in your mouth.

Oooohhhh.... That looks awesome. Wouldn't the vanilla cream be mayonnaise rather then mustard? (Since it's white?)

That looks amazing. If only it would go commercial.

I could eat that for dessert every day for the rest of my life.
It appears that the setting is that of a restaurant for both the chocolate burger and the chocolate pizza; and judging by the pictures, these two amazing-looking desserts can be found in the same place.
The question is, where?
Also, the chocolate burger reminds me a bit of the Brooklynite, which is a regular burger except it contains chocolate-covered bacon.

I would think the marshmallow slab atop the chocolate patty would be more mayonnaise-ish considering that it's much whiter and much less-yellow than the vanilla cream in the dish to the left of the burger.
Not quite the same, but here's a chocolate-dipped corn dog.
Even though it sounds awful... I have to admit that it does look rather tasty!
I will not argue there. It does look very tasty.
However, it is still a strange idea to combine meat with chocolate. Creative, and resourceful, but still strange. As a fat man, I applaud the unusual and probably chubby mind behind marketing this inevitability.
I'm not a picky eater, so no doubt I would even eat those creatures as long as they were dipped in chocolate.
All of those chocolate-covered oddities (with the exception of the sushi I posted on page 40, and the bacon of course) have one thing in common, and that thing is that they would all be almost equally as strange as food products if they were not covered in chocolate.
Like this chocolate-covered Porsche Carrera:
Personally, I find commonplace foods dipped in chocolate more strange than strange foods undergoing the same circumstances.
