Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...
If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.
Hmmm.... all those vermin-based dishes are really bugging me....
Their flavor isn't anything unusual, and their consistency isn't really significantly different from that of your standard spaghetti noodle, but they look like they're made of jello and that's plenty strange enough for this thread.
Glass noodles are slightly more chewy and slippery than regular noodles, but you're right, it is rather tough to notice if you don't eat spaghetti noodles very often.
Light, it might be the device I'm on right now. But I can't see the image.
No, it's not the device. The image will not show up for anyone because there is a censored word in the image link.
However, I managed to find the right four-letter word to slip into that link and find the image, so here is the same product light_chaser meant to post, but from a different source (one with no expletives to be more precise).
As to whether or not this product is real, let's just say you shouldn't count on ever finding it anywhere.
Thinking of eating that Ernie?
Of course not. Badly Photoshopped pictures are bad for the colon.
Cow nostrils, apparently Europeans eat them.
I don't believe it's particularly common in Europe, though it probably is eaten in a few places, but I did find an Indonesian recipe for cow's nose.
Actually, that cow's nose makes me think of Smalahove.
