Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.

I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.

http://steveandamysly.tannerworld.com/databank/2006/image_jonessoda_2006_holiday_holidaypack_antacidflavored_review3.jpg

The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.

Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.

^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.

And, of course, the Canadian classic...

If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.

Does it taste like bacon?

It looks like it would taste as much like bacon as those bacon-shaped cookies you posted a few pages back.

We're all familiar with the bacon-wrapped hotdog, yes?

http://www.smashboxstudios.com/yello/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Bacon-Wrapped-Hot-Dog.jpg

I decided to shake things up a bit and wrap a hotdog with sliced turkey. For those of you who are now interested in trying this new culinary advancement, I would advise against it because you'll only be wasting your time; a hotdog tastes about the same with sliced turkey wrapped around it.

Just thought I'd share that little tidbit as though it actually made my life seem somewhat interesting.

It's also posted on page 3.

By the way, this is my newest addiction if I haven't already mentioned it:

Almost as good as Blue Raspberry Crush. But not quite.

Mmmm... Elvis donuts...

http://foodbeast.com/content/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/elvis_donut.jpg

Donuts glazed with peanut butter and topped with bananas and delicious bacon! You can see why he was the king...

I've never seen an Elvis Donut before, but I'm willing to believe that he would not have lived much longer had he not overdosed on drugs before he got a chance to have a real American heart attack.

Anyway, those look delicious and now that I'm aware of them I'll be on the hunt for them.

Shrimp wrapped in bacon.

This just doesn't look that appealing.

Found these while browsing for something new:

Flavored french fries! (Left to right: Cinnamon, Chocolate, Crunchy, Kool Blue, and Sour Cream and Jive)

Speak for yourself! =P

But the Funky Fries don't look appetizing at all... what flavor is "kool blue" supposed to be?

I would guess blue raspberry? That's the only thing that makes sense?

I need a web redemption...

This one is pretty big. So beware.

Their a subsidiary of PepsiCo, which includes Lays. So their the same.

That's awesome. It's not banana flavored Doritos, but it's Doritos flavored banana. That's just awesome.

It looks delicious. But I don't really know what shrimp tastes like so I don't really know how it would taste...

Out of all those funky fries, I would only eat the chocolate. Everything becomes at least 20% better when covered in chocolate.

Anyway, those look delicious and now that I'm aware of them I'll be on the hunt for them.

I think it would be easier to make your own. Hm... I really need to do that... Jelly donuts with peanut butter, bananas, and bacon. My mouth is watering.

Speaking of donuts, I found these two unusual donuts while I was looking for something different.

The first ones are Mojito and Banana Daiquiri donuts. Apparently, they're sold in Spain though I have to admit I've never seen them here.

http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q550/kegaumongo/BananaDaiquiriandMojito.jpg

These ones are made of dry pork and seaweed and they're sold in China.

I also found a drink that could go quite well with donuts: glazed donut flavoured vodka.

I prefer shrimps with melon and a cocktail sauce, but bacon seems alright too.

Except French fries. The thought of chocolate-flavoured french fries is plain horrible.

Sour cream however certainly goes well together with fries. Just what the heck is 'Jive' supposed to be?

Btw, how about Hachi no Ko, bee larvae pickled in honey? I know it's not necessarily a bizarre food flavour, but certainly a bizarre food; even more considering that those bees are basically pickled in their own vomit.

Ugh... For some reason I find this more disgusting than the maggot cheese. They don't have any side effects right?

Looks can be, and in this case are, deceiving.

Flavored french fries! (Left to right: Cinnamon, Chocolate, Crunchy, Kool Blue, and Sour Cream and Jive)

If Sour Cream and Jive = Sour Cream and Onion, that would be an acceptable flavor. The "Crunchy" flavor also doesn't look too bad, because as far as I can tell it's just plain fries in ring form.

This one is pretty big. So beware.

Typical America. Big bag-o-chips in one hand and a Diet Coke in the cup holder.

Those look delicious. For some reason they make me think of Irish Cream Truffles.

It may taste fine, but it does not look sanitary at all and I would not let that anywhere near my mouth.

Which makes this the only Japanese food so far that I'd be hesitant to try if given the opportunity.

So I was thinking about chocolate due to Ernie's Irish Cream Truffles:
