Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.

I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.

http://www.nicegraphics.com/chow/baconfest/syrup.jpg

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vYHtyzs8EHo/TlFzwOGlLQI/AAAAAAAAAPI/Jat1mP5hGTE/s1600/milkis_lotte.jpg

http://steveandamysly.tannerworld.com/databank/2006/image_jonessoda_2006_holiday_holidaypack_antacidflavored_review3.jpg

The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.

Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.

^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.

And, of course, the Canadian classic...

If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.

Um, what exactly is a "Hong Kong fish ball"? Sounds really bad.

I don't like fish, so that's probably why though

These are supposedly mayonnaise and cheese flavor. I certainly won't be eating them.

While you guys were out discussing Pringles, I found a new Lays flavor and took a picture of it.

Lays Pico De Gallo. We were all expecting this, weren't we? I was a little disappointed with the flavor, to be honest. It was really just Garden Tomato & Basil with a hint of jalapeno heat.

Unlike the first image, that of GT&B is a stock image and was not taken by me.

You've tasted whale vomit?

Where did you find pico de gallo chips? They sound interesting.

And why were you eating whale vomit?

This thread does seem to progress in my absence. Once in a while.

First off, @wishfulpoison77, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but if you're going to post 3 images in the span of 9 minutes, especially if nobody is posting between your posts, it would be much preferred if you kept it to one and not triple-post.

Now then. Mayo & cheese Pringles. As strange as it is to admit, I'm inclined to agree with @CherryCoke360 regarding the flavor.

I would much rather have kimchi Pringles.

Lays isn't exactly known for their complex flavors. I'm sure some of you are familiar with their classic BLT flavor.

http://www.fromaway.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/lays-classic-blt.gif

They taste like bacon. No lettuce, no tomato, just bacon. Which is fine, except it would be less disappointing if they advertised them as regular bacon flavor and not something slightly more complicated such as a BLT.

If they combined the garden tomato flavor with the BLT (bacon) flavor, then you could call it a BLT.

And why were you eating whale vomit?

Yuck to whale vomit. I'm all for cute whales, but that's too much.

BTW, speaking of whales,

http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/07/23/20/11/0007232011168_500X500.jpg

It says those taste like cheddar cheese, not whale.

Seaweed. Again. What is the deal with seaweed? It just seems like it would taste salty and nasty, like the ocean.

Just yuck.

Seaweed is one of my favorite snacks. It's healthy and tasty, and I'll never get fat from eating it.

Except for mayonnaise and cheese, all of the chip flavors on this page look yummy. Even chili chocolate.

Seaweed Pringles apparently exist, and they sure are green.

I really want those seaweed pringles, but I think they may only be available in Asia. Bummer.

For those of you who consider yourselves to be bacon enthusiasts, this post in Battle of the Foods should serve as a decent bacon glossary. It's basically a highlight reel of bacon-related posts from the earlier days of this thread.

Not appearing in said post, but something from the very first page that has not been discussed much is Torani bacon syrup.

http://www.nicegraphics.com/chow/baconfest/syrup.jpg

If you have mixed feelings towards it, that's probably the correct reaction.

As for the seaweed chips of all varieties, I'm sure they're delicious, as seaweed always is, but the way it looks will always remind me of veggie Pirate's Booty.

If you're wondering how vile this stuff really is, watch how the bag in the second image vomits it up onto a paper towel. Not even the bag it comes in wants veggie Pirate's Booty.

That is unfortunately correct, but that's not to say you can't buy seaweed and eat it with regular Pringles.

That's a lot of bacon. I wonder where I can find that bacon marmalade. That would go great in an omelette.

If you have mixed feelings towards it, that's probably the correct reaction.

At least I'm not the only one. Now I know salted caramel isn't the weirdest flavor they have.

Salted caramel actually sounds good to me. Is that messed up?
