it should be automated and it should say you have been friended by ______________ and then there should be a link to the person who friended you!
Ummmm.... It's a good idea, but I find that messages like that are more or less a nuisance... I always just delete them.You might want to take this to the AG3 suggestion forum, might get more feedback there.
The friend system on AG3 will be like social networking sites, where it sends a friend request and you accept or decline. You'll also be able to "follow" people and it'll send you a message regarding that.
