Idk, maybe just for decoration. I don't see any other purpose for it

That red dot was supposed to show whether or not you were online or not. It would turn green when you were online. However, it's not working due to bugs.

Maybe we could ask someone to fix it. I doubt they would do it...

@ murasaki9 Its probably not a very high priority problem. i would guess that most of the Admins are focusing on releasing AG3.

There was a short period where they had it enabled again, but it was bugged somewhat... it turned up active (green) somtimes and suddenly went offline (red) without you loggin off... =/

But it was also mentioned that some sort of new on/offline feature would be implemented in the AG v3.0 somewhere. Never heard about it again though...
