Dude i made a thread almost exactly like this but to answer your question no mitt romney would not make a great president he would put the econemy in even worse shape
I would not recommend Romney as a president. I prefer Obama much more. Obama had great ideas (Such as healthcare) that were stone walled and the re election usually ends in a majority so Obama will be able to implement his plans.
I donât like either, Obama is to far left (no comment) and mitt is a "conservative" heâs a career politician and not all that conservative I would say rick Santorum, heâs an actual conservative and not a career politician and I agree with just about everything he says.
I heard G.W. Bush appears as a leftist compared to Mitt Romney, who is one of the most moderate from the Republican camp. So no, I would definitely not recommend him nor any other less moderate than him. Bush was bad enough already...

Bush was more conservative on some issues, Romney was more moderate and practical until he was forced into the corner to win the evangelical vote. He did introduce a health care system in his State for one.
Bigot. By refusing to recognise marriage between gays as legal based on subjective religious and moral grounds, he's being bigoted, pandering to hysterical Christians.
That being said, Romney hasn't come out as gay bashing, and wasn't an opponent of gays until this campaign, which also shows what a two faced Janus the man is, flipping in his views often.
