I think that video games should have optional blood, gore, swearing, etc. For istance, there could be a menu in which these things could be switched on/off. This could give people the ability to try control what they want in games, and let gamers play games that they wouldn't normally be able to get. For instance I thought Ninja Gaiden II looked awesome! Unfortunately it is rated M. Look up why HERE. Please post your thoughts here.
I think that people who publish games should not be restricted at all. Then, they could make better games. After all, God of War would be much less exciting without the blood. WIthout blood, it seems too much like a cartoon, and unrealistic.
Also, if your parents don't get you M games, and easy way to comvince parents of something is telling them that all your friends have them. Also try explaining to them that you won't go around killing people.
maybe there should be an option but you see.. studies indicate that some people use these bloody,gory games to get rid of stress,They say that after an hour of playin they feel ok so...
Games could have an option that lowers the amount of blood; but if there was no swearing they would have to record two dialogs, one with swearing, one without. Also just making an option where you can lower the blood and gore probably won't lower the content rating.
I totally agree, it gives all types of people to play the game. Some games are awesome, but you're not allowed to play that because of the ratings. If it had those options that would be great.
Wow, you hate blood and stuff like that or can't get. Games suck without that stuff. Gta 4 without hookers blood and swearing is nice and H3 without blood, we would be playing a gay game.
@gman1000 I mean ninja gaiden looks fun and all and i want it but i cant get it either but i mean but all of the blood is to much for me it is like a blood fest it would be cool if there was a option that could lower the blood gore ect. but not take it out completely
