Spam is annoying, but it's being taken care of, could be alot worse. I'm not sure of the Youtube links, I haven't seen anything really besides people using them as proof for an argument. If you see any 1 word comments, report them. And the advertisements keep AG free.

The advertisements are good, the annoying spam one word comments are the most annoying things on the site. I think youtube is not as bad as AG because, youtube has a lot less rule then AG does so more things are considered spam.

I believe he's referring to people advertising in game comments, not the ads you see around the site that give AG money.

As for the one-word comments, have faith that they will be dealt with eventually. They don't tend to last forever.
