This is a forum where someone brings up music (make sure to post the URL) and writes the title, then rates it on a scale of 1 to 100(100 being the most epic) and tells why, then everyone else rates it and explains on the same scale. You may place decimals. Rules:
1. Be honest. Don't post ratings and/or explanations that you don't mean.
2. At least two ratings (other than the person who posted it) must be for a track before moving on to another track.
3. Music can be from anywhere, games, CDs, etc. You don't have to post the title if it's from a game, however you do have to post the title of the game that it's from. If you do know the title of a video game track, you can write both.
4. Have fun!

To start, I'll post a track of my own.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvHO55vDuYs
It's called "Ode To The Fallen" and it's from Pandemic: Extinction of Man.

Rating: 94
Explanation: This track really reflects the game that it is in. The ending is very dramatic, and the instruments are genius. Truthfully one of the best tracks I've heard.

I look forward to seeing your tracks!

epic? How? It builds from low key to meh. Sorry.

Ok so the band that comes to mind for epicness is Pink Floyd. I'm gonna have to say, This one. I Will never not like this song. Plus it builds and eases of like no other, but that's a big part of the genius behind Pink Floyd. Sorry for the easy pick. I'll get a better one when I feel you're ready.

One Of These Days: 80
Explanation: Pretty good beginning and end, but in the middle I feel it just repeats the same beat over and over. Good one, though.

Well Ladies and Gentlecolts, I ask you to partake in this little tidbit of rock music. It's a cover, yes, but a **** good one, and a true testament to the power of a fandom.

I give it a 84/100. It's quite good, but when compared to other music from "our" genre, it falls a bit flat.

The Orc Theme of Lord of the Rings.
Rating-95/100
This theme is so **** sinister and amazing, and is great to listen to, especially when planning your arch-enemies' demise with, say, lego?

Lord Beckett's Theme from Pirates of the Caribbean
Rating-96/100
This theme is fun to listen to, and to conduct. It is long and has many cool parts in it.

Get me one of those! From The Three Musketeers
Rating-90/100
This plays during a military spectacle interrupted by an airship. Amazing to listen to, I love the starting part. End disappoints me but maybe not you!

Combat Europe from Settlers: Heritage of Kings
Rating-87/100
This theme plays when you are fighting, sounds very neat and the timpani and percussion is all out.

That's interesting, the word dam +n is cut off as a swear. Sorry to any who thought I said something stronger.

Great music is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder. In other words, "rating" music by anyone is ridiculous.

Nevertheless I like John Lennon's Working Class Hero. Green Day did a more "Rock" version of it if you're interested.
