Puzzle 1 - Round the track
Three people are running around a 400 meter running track. They are
Usain Bolt - 14 laps per hours Family Guy - 6 laps per hour Old Hag - 2 laps per hour
How many minutes will have passed by the time they are all together?
Just to clarify, do you mean, what is the shortest amount of minutes that will have passed by the time the are all together? Or could it be any time that they are all together?
Yeah, if it is the shortest amount of time that they will be all together, then I agree with Josh, that in 0 minutes they will be together. Since they all started at the same place.
Scratch out my last post. Since you have to take in account that all three of them are in different lanes if they are racing. So if they are in different lanes, they will be in different places. But even if they aren't racing, they would be behind each other and then they wouldn't be together at all.
