Does anyone read his music reviews? Thoughts about them? Personally, I feel he can be pretty unprofessional and unjust in his reviews, since he tends to diss entire genres and seems to automatically give bad reviews to them. Such as metal.
And proclaiming himself the Dean of American Rock Critics was quite a narcistic move.
I'm not very keen on him either. He obviously knows his little classic rock niche, but far too often tends to review albums in genres he really has no business talking about.
Kind of is the problem with many old school music reviewers, since they tend to favour music from the 60s/70s. Especially those biased ''critics'' whose choose who to induct into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
