It is fundamentally impossible to predict accurately what will happen to our planet in the nearing future, but with the ideas of global warming, rapture, overpopulation, economic collapse, nuclear conflict, and etc., who's to say we will never truly face an apocolypse?

Personally, I believe we will face a third world war in which much of the world will be ruined. Look at WWI for example: Nearly a quarter of Austria-Hungary's (a non-existing country today) population was killed in war, while its economy was wiped out- to a point where the country was divided. The same happened to Germany: They were given full responsibility for the war and had to pay a fine as much as their entire funds could handle. Noty to mention they lost half their land, which is now Poland. In WWII, Germany took Poland back, but resulted in a repeat of WWI, with bigger weapons and even more casualties.

Am I saying we will have another world war? No. Am I saying it's possible? Yes. There are many other ideas of how the world will come to an end, but there are so many different ways it can happen.

Discuss.

I personally think that we as humans have the capacity to stop killing each other. The rest of the world will realize it someday. If you think about it, there is no good reason to ever kill somebody else. We'll justify murdering someone with "Oh they murdered thousands", and I support that for now, but why are they murdering thousands? They shouldn't. Who gives a rats a** if they don't believe in your religion? Why does it matter if they want to smoke that plant? It's not like by them doing these things it is harming other people, in any way, shape or form.

I personally disagree with most religions, especially theist, because you get thinks like radical zealots who want to murder people who don't believe in the same imaginary friend as you, or rude people who picket honorable soldiers' funerals because they found love in somebody who was of the same gender as themselves.

In my opinion, the world will need to relearn the value of human life, the tolerance of other people's beliefs, and respect.

TL;DRTheres no valid reason to kill people, and people should be more open minded.
