Strategy Guide
Welcome to another boss battle! Like other bosses, the Gold Feeder is very special and requires some unique tricks to be beaten. At first glance, he seems pretty much invincible with 999 defense and 999 resist. Most of your abilities will deal less than 10 damage to him (aside from the Magician who can reduce his resist to 450). He also has strong physical attacks and a magic attack that he uses to counter anyone who hit him from 2 tiles away.
Fighting the Gold Feeder the normal way won't cut it. However, if you look carefully on the map, there is a floating gold heart right behind him. That is his source of power. If you destroy that gold heart he will lose all his Resist and Defense!
The battle map is divided in half by a big block of rock in the middle. Have Gelyan move closer to the Gold Feeder using the lower path to lure him. Have Nera, Sisily and the Tarots advancing using the upper path. Do not attack the Gold Feeder!
On the third turn, the High Priestess and Nera should be close enough to deliver hits to the Gold Heart. After it is gone, feel free to unleash all of your attacks on the Gold Feeder. With no resist and defense, he would go down like a rock.
Tips for this battle:
- Do not attack the Gold Feeder unless the Gold Heart is gone.
- Try to use a strong character to absorb the damage and lure the Gold Feeder while the others can sneak up to the Gold Heart.
