Strategy Guide
Again, depending on when you fight Cerberus, this battle ranges from very hard to relatively easy. Cerberus' attributes are pretty average compared to other bosses. However, Cerberus is exceptional in terms of speed. Not only does he have a high dodge rate and agility, his Light Speed Perk allows him to act twice per turn.
This map layout is totally in your favor. There is a single choke point which is perfect to set up for a gang up. Have Nera block this choke point, since she has the highest chance of survival with her high Red Natural Resistance and dodge rate. Use the Fool's Castling to set up your battle field and swap Nera out of trouble if necessary.
The High Priestess is actually a good choice for this battle. You can use her to heal the tank and buff your characters. Her Blue Paradise also has a lasting effect on your party for the rest of the battle. Death is a solid choice as always; her Soul Ritual cannot fully paralyze Cerberus, but it can still prevent his Light Speed Perk to kick in for 2 turns.
Sisily's Tornado Warp and Gelyan's Soul Pact are good abilities to use against Cerberus. However, if Gelyan has been following a sniper build, Jelly Shot followed up with Trigger Happy or Armor Crusher are better choices.
Tips for this battle:
- Use the choke point to maximum effect. Don't let Cerberus rip through your back line.
- Soul Ritual is not very effective against Cerberus. Cerberus under the effect of Soul Ritual can still act once per turn.
