"I see the beginning of eternity The end of time and space The beginning of every end, And the end of every place."
What am I?
A circle?
three lives have I. Gentle enough to soothe the skin. Light enough to caress the sky. Hard enough to crack rocks. What am I?
Water?
I've never much liked riddles. They are always vague, with tens if not hundreds of answers that could fit reasonably, but arbitrarily choose what is and is not right.
"I have cities with no people Mountains without land Rivers with no water You can hold me in your hand."
I guess it's a map.
I'm sorry I don't have any in reserve... well except for the sphinx's riddle (too classic). And the ones from bilbo and gollum, in case noone has read 'bilbo the hobbit' yet..
This thing all things devours: Birds, beasts, trees, flowers; Gnaws iron, bites steel; Grinds hard stones to meal; Slays king, ruins town And beats high mountain down.
man, one of these days i am going to have to reread that book.
"What force and strength cannot get through With a gentle touch, I can do And many in a street would stand Were I not a friend at hand." and "Black within and red with out And four corners round about." What are they?
