12 hours ago 3 alien scout ships entered mars atmosphere. As the governments of earth talked about preparing nukes, or trying to communicate a battleship came into orbit. The battleship soon deployed a trio of smaller frigates as we could only assume. The frigates entered our atmosphere with beams pulsing. Russia sent nukes, followed by the US and other counties. This was considered an act of war and thousands of drop ships where sent in along with fighter escorts. You just got to your home when military how up to escort you to a relief camp......

Okay, stop. This is the third RPG you've started in only a few days. Don't do that. Why do people keep doing that?
If you start a bunch of RPGs at once, you're going to get overloaded. Never start more than one at once. Advertise it, bump it once, then wait. If no one touches it for a week, try again. Never start several to increase your chances of getting players.
Read the stickied thread on running RPGs at the top of Forum Games. Advertise it in the "New RPG Announcement Board". Be patient.
I want a load of work to get over a close friends death. sorry if i broke a rule
It's not an actual rule. It's more like a forum games "common sense" kind of thing. You're not in trouble, don't worry. But people do have a habit of making two or three games. If the games don't get any attention, the person gets dejected and feels ignored.
Read the first two posts by the creator of other RPGs to avoid making a copy of one of theirs. Even if it's an accident, people will ignore your RPG if it's too close to another one.
Look at and compare other RPG character sheets.
Read the [GUIDE] thread on making an RPG.
Put a lot of thought into one good game. You need a solid story of some kind if you want it to work, period.
Advertise in the "New RPG Announcement Board"
Bump it once if it falls back to Page 2.
Sounds like a lot of work? It is, but it's worth it.
If you want to see a lot of work happening, look at my Thread, "Matt's Tactical BvB RPG kickstarter discussion." I started a thread just to go over the elements of a new game I'm working on. If you want to get involved, go read up on it and join (it's a fantasy sword-and-shield world explorer kind of thing. No guns or stamina %, so it might not be your thing).
I know i saw i played here and read it all i while ago
I know of a great way to take your mind off things.
Use some type of program where you can write. Like word for instance. And just start writing an RPG. This is how I did mine. I started from scratch, using other ideas from various things and books and mixing it up. Tweaked a lot of it and I had an RPG right in front of my eyes. And it only took me about an hour or so.
Look I did it for the same reason, though not over a death but over stress. It's a great way to relieve stress and have some fun. But hosting RPG's requires a ton of creativity and a lot of dedication, just remember that. From this I can tell you have that creativity, but it should be more expansive. Explain more. It's way too straight to the point.
Then again this isn't my RPG and everyone does there's differently.
Just some tips though. Good Luck... Btw don't create another one yet, leave these and advertise them, or focus on one and cancel your other ones.
I got one that im trying to fouces on but i wanna leave these other two as an option
