Ok, in this thread you simply post whatever bands, songs, or playlists you've been listening to recently. I don't believe this is a duplicate thread but I'm sorry if it is. One rule though- don't be a music snob/ elitist. A bit of debate is fine, but don't bully anyone out of the thread. If we're all respectful and open-minded, this is a great way to share music and maybe try something new.

The past few days I've been listening to a few songs by Wintersleep: "Nothing is Anything (Without You)" , "Weighty Ghost", and "Laser Beams." Aside from those, I haven't had much of a craving for anything in particular in the past few days and I've been using shuffle on my iPod.

The day gets no younger, yet the day will renew itself. Why then should we heed the sands of time?

Listened to the entirety of Cynic's 2014 album Kindly Bent to Free Us...and, I'm not sure. Like, I liked the music and all and the album was quite well done, but I had to constantly remind myself that this is Cynic playing, and although I am a fan of band's reaching out towards a different sound and letting their music grow, rather than just sticking to "their sound", I'm not sure if this was the direction the should have gone. It just feels like they made everything more tamer overall, more approachable; this isn't an inherently bad thing, but it doesn't feel like they (overall, as there are plenty of instances of great individual performances) are really pushing themselves.

Lion's Roar and Infinite Shapes are easily my favorite. Easily could have done without Endlessly Beautiful

Cupid - Cupid Shuffle

It's been in my head all day. I had to hear it once so I could fall asleep. Maybe I'll have a dream of 16 versions of myself dancing to it in unison.
