Hmm.
I just had a mental image of a crying 15 year old with a tinfoil hat and an angry tall not very fat yet frightening buddha towering over him. Yes, that's how I think of those users, and in answer to the question SSTG would win. Definitely.
R2 might win because I'd be like "Oh cool, it's R2D2!" Then I'd shake his tiny robotic arm and he'd sneakily shock me to death.
I think R2 might win, but, who knows? *shrug*

We're talking about a seasoned traveler/trader/knight versus a robot. Think.
IRL: SSTG would win I am pretty sure. He is in better shape than R2 probably and would be able to take him.
Online: R2. You cannot beat poison cookies being thrown at you from a robot. Even without the cookies a robot would win.
Try to picture R2 on a horse trying to joust. He couldn't even stay on the horse for 2 seconds.
