Btw for future quests, is it possible to request the devs to check things retroactively? For example, open 10 chests took an extra hour or two because it didn't count the 21 artifacts that I had already gotten, and the 100 battles took another 15+ mins. I got the last quest before either of those two, which is a little bit sad.
@randomblah We do that when we can, but it's not always possible. Lots of reasons why or why not, but it's different game by game and how it was created.
Difficulty – I didn’t find the play too hard to figure out, although the far right teleport in Level 18 threw me off for a while (jumping over it to immediately turn around and go back in it). Just keep sending those cats into battle and I’m sure you’ll figure it out. For example, in Level 17 where you have to go through three pairs of Mortal Kombat enemies, you might want to just go on to Level 18 to continue leveling up (if you can’t beat them as is).
Upgrading – Thought I’d throw this list together for applying artifacts; the stat increases are pretty dramatic. (Used table-ready formatting.)
Note the multiple possibilities for Artifacts 3, 7, 16, and 18.

Oh, forgot -- you can get all the quests without beating the game. I saved up a lot of my regular lottery tickets until Level 20, and then spent them all as I prepared for that level. It gave me all the clothes I didn't have, and the final quest to boot.
If I'm not mistaken, the artifacts are always acquired in the same order(#4 first - the 'E', Arran's last). That means that Snake(old solid) and batman will be the first two artifacts with completed sets. Snake is pretty usable until the end; batman somewhat less so. Some of the best units I've found are Dr. Mario, Warrior Brotherhood, and the Dragon Man(aka decent artifact ranged units). Obviously, adjust builds as necessary for each map - once you start piling artifacts, you can afford to fight every enemy until level 20.
The artifacts are not solid with the combined set... once you change that set for another, you need to combine it again when you use that artifact set. Having it stick to this particular set would have been better in my opinion.
On another note, I think a better quest than "all the clothes" would have been something similar to the "4 Turtles" one -- something like "all four wearing upgraded/artifacted clothing"
@MrDayCee for the most artifacts: oh yes!
But on the four multiple use artifacts a change might be better, eighter if you want to use another effect... or maybe just because of style thingys.^^
Well it took over an hour of researching, replaying, and readjusting the characters only level 20 but I finally did it. Definitely a quest deserving of the "hard" title.
I used (back to front) "Oldsolid - Warrior Brotherhood - ??? - Pupil of Shao Kahn (Tundra)" for killing enemies on LVL20 (I didn't have the Jedi yet).
With this combo, if the first 4 enemies are melee only, you can defeat them without casualties. Then you kill another duo with no casualties again, (probably) lose one Melee to the another quartet (behind the door), lose one Melee to the Dracula-Priest duo again and kill Flywalker, Clone and Darth father with two Ranged. Voila, level finished with two kittens.
When you get the Darth father set, use "Ranger (chests) - Sheriff (obstacles) - Pupil of Shao Kahn (Indigenous) - Jedi" set for the clothes ticket or the "Aran (invisible - NOT IRON LADY, because she has melee attack) - Warrior Brotherhood - Pupil of Shao Kahn (Indigenous) - Jedi" for the golden ticket respectively.
For the boss fight, the most important part is for the units to be ranged. I used "Dracula (E+8) - Warrior Brotherhood - Mr. White (Brer - S+8) - Dragon Man (Betzita - E+8)". Usually Warrior Brotherhood and Dragon Man survived.
EDIT: Just a note, I had all kittens at 40-40-40 basic values.
