If you're referring to the game category pages, that format has been around for several years, but until last week or so, the category buttons in the green nav bar led to pages that displayed games in the previous format, which displayed 30 games per page. As for the "new" format, it would help if changing the page changed only the displayed games (like when changing pages of completed quests or faved games on profile pages) instead of reloading the entire page each time. Also, the MMO category displays 20 games per page, so maybe all the major categories could do that.
