Hello and welcome!

This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!

Competition Rules
1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified.
2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged.
3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off.
4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week.
5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.

Bronze, that's not a crappy paint job. It's actually quite good for paint.

She refused to talk to me at all, so was a bit hard. Besides that, she has now gotten work, so it is easy to sweat out or fall asleep before she gets to it.

Sorry, but I certainly won't have time to do one now. I have WoM to do, and exams coming up.

But after the exams, I might think about coming back if I can.

You don't think I remembered when I posted a note about the deadline a day before...?

But as Cen said, I now have work, and I crashed and slept all the rest of the day after I got home. And had to call in sick today. So judging is looming just around the corner.

Sleep refused to let me stay awake to talk to you :<

But after the exams, I might think about coming back if I can.

I have a problem.

For the first time in several days this thread isn't glitching for me, so I figured I'd hurry up and do the judging.

But I can't get the image urls.

I don't know why, but the right click menu on them no longer has the "view image" or "copy image location" options that I used to use to get the urls.

So, uh... If someone could please gather and post the urls, that would be awesome.

My kitten splurting powers hath figured out the next piece of MAD SCIENCE-TRY.

What could this mad sciencetry be? IS it better than my famous project anthemia/ goliath Syndrome? IT could be just as destructive!

The Industrial Drill Bomb.

Packed with plastic explosives and a nuclear reactor to power the thing, this bomb (with a drill on the bottom) will tunnel under a city from several miles away... to cause a mass cave in. I'll let that thought sink into you for a bit...

Okay, is your mind blown? No? Well, due to a glitch in my printer, it made the thing quite yellow, making me say: "Wow, that looks like a really old piece of paper!" So I made it from the cold war, even though it's in my story "The Legend of Ahmeria" as a superweapon under the strongarm mining corp's control.

I refuse to believe anyone will be the smallest bit surprised over this winning. Nice comical style, and he really does look like he is enthusiastically shouting SCIENCE! Good job, Cen.

That is one hell of a big drill bomb. O.o That aside, it seems to me to be the other entry best shouting SCIENCE out, so thar.

Some seriously funny expressions on your atoms. Nice and creative, though I do wonder why your name gets to be so prominent. This would possibly have gotten third if there hadn't been so few entries. Possibly.

Sorry about the delay this round, still getting used to actually working. Dragging branches around is actually kinda tough when you're not used to it. O.o Hopefully a weekend deadline should mean I have time when it comes around.
Also, I shouldn't pick themes before breakfast. Mmm, juice. I hope you'll get creative with the theme, though, there's probably odd jokes to be had.
