Hello and welcome!

This is a spin-off of the original GFX Art Battle, but with some updated rules and changes. Please make sure to read the rules before entering, since they have been modified. Good luck, we look forward to seeing some creative artistic entries!

Competition Rules
1. Must be hand drawn, either on paper or in a program. It can then be manipulated in an graphics program. But unoriginal artwork cannot be used as the main focus. Copyrighted images cannot be used. All pieces containing copyrighted images will be disqualified.
2. Submissions must follow the current theme that has been chosen by a moderator for that week. If you submit more than one piece, please clarify which one you would like to be judged.
3. If your image is larger than 600 pixels wide, please provide a link to the image instead of posting it in the forum. Otherwise, the image will be cut off.
4. Artists cannot win in subsequent weeks. You can still submit, but if you won the week before, you cannot get first place again the next week.
5. After the deadline, a moderator will pick the winner, and they will be awarded a 25 AP award.

hmm I come in here today to find a ton of new entries.I need to make sure I didn't miss any of them,but I have to say I believe Gantic has won quite a few of them himself.That or he came close to it.So its not just cenere,Zophia,and cholokid all the time.Remember I won one as well.Although it was sort of a tie,but you get the point.

Gantics won at least two in the past.The themes were "Your Name" and "Food" other then that I don't know if he has won any others,but still I'm surprised you didn't know that he had won any.

yes, but cenere, zoph, and cholo are the regular winners. That was my point, plenty of people who participate have won, but again, they are the regulars (excluding strop, which due to him being overseas I forgot about him).

ubertuna - Heart Attack

I just smile every time I look at this one. It's funny, it's simple, I wouldn't mind buying a T-shirt with it on... I love it, however vaguely it may be connected to what I hoped would come from this theme.

Second place:
Gantic - Hear It

I see symbolism. I'm sure I'm missing out of some of it, but I see it there. And what I get out of it, I like. Also, nice brush.

Third place:
Cenere - Jack of Hearts

Third place, or "the entry that made my head explode for overload of symbols".
I dislike analyzing pictures, so actual symbolism most often goes over my head. However, I do think there is a very nice composition in this image.
