You know what would be awesome?
Warfare 1863.

(Civil war, for those who don't know you're history.)

Instead of trenches, they could have barriers. They'd just be trenches with another name. Trenches would be buildable.

Fire defense would be things you could set up behind your barricades.
Fire defenses: Canon, shell gun, Gatling Gun machinegun, and mortar.

Union units

Infantryman:- Repeating .45 cal rifle with bayonet.

Cavalryman:- Not behind barrier. Rushes out, kills entrenched and barricaded. Has a .375 revolver carbine.

Calvaryman Leader:- Same as Calvarman, just boosts morale and damage. Carries a sabre.

Sniper:- .60 caliber one shot rifle. Also carries a one shot derringer for close fighting.

Officer:- Same as officer from Warfare 1917. Never leaves trench/barricade.


Confederate units:

Rifleman: Same as union infantryman.

Calvaryman: Same as union Calvaryman, but is slower, but does more damage.

Machinegunner: Carries a Coffee Mill Machinegun. Terrible when not entrenched or barricaded.

Shotgunner: Carrises a slug-shooting shotgun. Switches to shot if he's attacked while entrenched.

Leader: Carrier a powerful .45 revolver. Better than the union officer. Slightly trigger-happy.

Heroes: Playable characters that make the game slightly like the last stand.

Patriot: Soldier with a mortar and carbine. Very high damage.

Vigilante: Man with two .45 revolver. Cowboy dude.

General: Like an officer, gives a huge morale boost, not too low morale loss if killed. Has a higher defense than other soldiers.

Listen I know I am new here but I think that there should be a Warfare game based on the Vietnam war.

Warfare 1948 is not possible because the WWII ended in 1945...
I wouldn't mind some Americans vs. Indians game, or Napoleon vs. Russia, or a WWIII

They could make 'warfare 1939' that would include a lot of trenches and you play as the french - the game would be sitting & watching as the germans drive around the maginot line.

and so if you choose the french you can't win?!
