I just want to share this... Source.

Directly pasted:

FEUDALISM: You have two cows. Your lord takes some of the milk.

PURE SOCIALISM: You have two cows. The government takes them and puts them in a barn with everyone else's cows. You have to take care of all of the cows. The government gives you as much milk as you need.

BUREAUCRATIC SOCIALISM: You have two cows. The government takes them and put them in a barn with everyone else's cows. They are cared for by ex-chicken farmers. You have to take care of the chickens the government took from the chicken farmers. The government gives you as much milk and eggs as the regulations say you need.

FASCISM: You have two cows. The government takes both, hires you to take care of them and sells you the milk.

PURE COMMUNISM: You have two cows. Your neighbors help you take care of them, and you all share the milk.

RUSSIAN COMMUNISM: You have two cows. You have to take care of them, but the government takes all the milk.

CAMBODIAN COMMUNISM: You have two cows. The government takes both of them and shoots you.

DICTATORSHIP: You have two cows. The government takes both and drafts you.

PURE DEMOCRACY: You have two cows. Your neighbors decide who gets the milk.

REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY: You have two cows. Your neighbors pick someone to tell you who gets the milk.

BUREAUCRACY: You have two cows. At first the government regulates what you can feed them and when you can milk them. Then it pays you not to milk them. Then it takes both, shoots one, milks the other and pours the milk down the drain. Then it requires you to fill out forms accounting for the missing cows.

PURE ANARCHY: You have two cows. Either you sell the milk at a fair price or your neighbors try to take the cows and kill you.

LIBERTARIAN/ANARCHO-CAPITALISM: You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull.

SURREALISM: You have two giraffes. The government requires you to take harmonica lessons.

I think at least a few of them are somewhat accurate (even though simplified), and just wanted to put it up here. I'm sure some sort of discussion or general amusement or something can ensue.

REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY: You have two cows. Your neighbors pick someone to tell you who gets the milk.

Actually, you elect people to represent you, because you believe that they are better qualified to do so. Also, everyone has a vote, which is not implied in this as it says your neighbours choose.

I would also like to point out that with fascism:

FASCISM: You have two cows. The government takes both, hires you to take care of them and sells you the milk.

The Russian government, pre communism, under economic minister Vyshnegradsky, employed (almost) this exact policy with regards to agriculture. Funny to see it in this context.

I would also point out that pure anarchy is unfairly portrayed, according to the theory, the reality would be quite different.

Although, on the whole rather interesting to see a different approach, quite funny too.

This makes too many generalizations and misconceptions in this.

CAMBODIAN COMMUNISM: You have two cows. The government takes both of them and shoots you.

LOL That was the best.

But yes, they are quite simplified. You can instantly guess that its just "for fun"

Love the pure anarchy, I get to kill my neibors and get their cows, who doesn't like that?

I found this to be amusing yet partially accurate(if not completely accurate).

Love the pure anarchy, I get to kill my neibors and get their cows, who doesn't like that?

I don't. If you were weaker than your neighbors, you could be killed for your possessions. The stronger, more able people have an advantage in an anarchistic society.

If you had my neibors, you would understand, besides, I'm the one with the 12-gauge shotgun.

The only reasonable one to pick out of the rest.

You're the one with the shotgun? I see. Your neighbors wouldn't fare well if the government was suddenly destroyed and anarchy dominated.

The point in this representation, as I see it, is that if those two neighbours think this specific person would be best at choosing for you, and you think that this other specific person would be better, the neighbours win. Whoever is the majority, wins.

This makes too many generalizations and misconceptions in this.
The point of this is not to be accurate. It is to give a very basic idea of the concept of that branch of politics, with added humor. It's not made for education purposes, and shouldn't be taken completely seriously.

I agree. Sadly, humans fail at living by pure communism. It works occasionally in small groups, though.

And just to point it out again, this is not meant to be taken completely serious; it's just a mock way of listing the basics of politics. I find most of them rather fitting, even if they are unfairly simple on some.

I see your point, but it makes it out that this individual doesn't have any say whatsoever.

Most of the small groups that have existed have done so under s system of anarcho syndicalism. I don't believe there has ever been pure communism even in small groups.

Individuals don't have a say whatsoever in a democracy.
You need a group of people with the same opinion before you get to make that decision. One vote don't make a difference. A bunch of votes for the same thing does. One should vote to add to that pile, hoping that enough others support it too. But the individual vote means very little on its own.

The line with the cows is just overly simplyfied, and obviously not accurate. It's difficult to accurately describe anything in that little space. It's just an image of it.

I actually meant all the way down to as small groups as families. And I did say occasionally. Most often it fails, but on RARE occasions, people actually like helping each other out and only getting the same in return.

I agree with Zophia on that one.
