I regret to inform you that it has come to the Moderation Team's attention that all this time, Strop has been lying to all of us.

Yesterday he admitted to not actually being a real medical student - he has actually gotten his medical knowledge from websites and books.
He continued to ramble on about how this and the fact that he was made a mod to begin with really excited him, but now has gotten overhand and is making him stressed out. Therefore he came clean about it, and asked Carlie to delete his account, which I am sure she'll do as soon as she gets online.

I just thought you'd like to know, as many of you liked him. :<

And darn, another mod gone...

Sincerely
~Zoph

The only people who can really gloat unabashedly about it are those who actually placed their bets before the prank was called.
Ha ha, that's me.

I'm surprised Xzeno didn't catch this grammar mistake. Depending on the perspective of the sentence, this could be misuse of an aposrophe, as it may be used here to denote a plural, which is incorrect. . .but that depends o n how you're saying it.
My grammar Nazi chief lectured me about this. According to her, it is April Fool's Day, because 'April' is describing the fool whose day it is, thus the possessive.

Anyway: Nice prank everyone! Just see-through enough. Zoph and Cen could have been more convincing. You may have tricked most of us, but you have to wake up a lot earlier in the morning to make an April Fool out of ol' Xzeno.

I believe I've accidentally left out that apostrophe exactly once this year, in a brain-fart moment where I thought maybe it was grammatically incorrect to have it in. Then there was the confusion about whether that should be "Fool's" or "Fools'", since there are many a fool to be made on this day!

Wow that sucks, He gave me my First Merit.

Guess some people haven't wised up yet :P

The joke wasn't able to fool me. I didn't find it to be amazing.
What I actually laughed at is how many fell for this. How could so many be tricked?

Zoph and Cen could have been more convincing.

Well, it is hard to be convincing without actually lying.
I just.. refrained to tell the truth.

Aprils nar = April's fool... Yeah, just sticking to the Danish way of saying it. Because my grammar sucks in the first place.

Did... Did we just get one more? XD

I wish we could make a poll like thing going:
1) Did you fall for it? y/n
2) Was it a good joke? y/n
'Cause it seems the opinions are mixed~

And I've written April's Fool, April Fools, April Fool's and... So on. Depending on context. Yus, I'm confused.

Zoph and Cen could have been more convincing.
It was very spontaneously executed, despite being at least partly planned. I regretted at least half my wording of the first post only a few pages in.

1)Yes.
2)Yes.

Maybe the third question can be:
3) Are you mad now? y/n

I thought it was an epic April fools joke. I wasn't fooled by it, but that was because I was one of the people in on it. I loved how some people said "wow lame!" then later on felt bad because they thought that it was possible that Strop actually did quit, so they were like "Sorry, bye Strop. "

It was good stuff. xD

It was a nice decent joke but you shouldn't joke about things like that, I didn't fall for it.

But Strop never included the noun for April Fool to possess, thus rendering it as a possessive without a noun to possess it. Therefore, it would be considered a plural of 'fool,' of which appending with an apostrophe is incorrect. But, on a lighter note, i can hs lolz at tihs joek. :3

Not to resurrect an old thread that has little relevance now, but I have to respond:
