I regret to inform you that it has come to the Moderation Team's attention that all this time, Strop has been lying to all of us.
Yesterday he admitted to not actually being a real medical student - he has actually gotten his medical knowledge from websites and books.
He continued to ramble on about how this and the fact that he was made a mod to begin with really excited him, but now has gotten overhand and is making him stressed out. Therefore he came clean about it, and asked Carlie to delete his account, which I am sure she'll do as soon as she gets online.
I just thought you'd like to know, as many of you liked him. :<
And darn, another mod gone...

I can't claim the full credit (cop the full blame) for this prank though. The culprits, I shall leave for them to come forward as they please!
That number is an exaggeration. Over one hundred thousand are ghosts with no points. The remaining 90,000 is mostly composed of low ranking members, I don't know how many are ghosts. Less than five thousand have reached Wood Knight or something above that. Even among the high ranking members, there are some who left.
It may be an exaggeration in those terms but this kinda misses the point, seeing as this is something that applies to all forums- the point was that one person out of all those who registered chose to react to this in such a manner.

1) I, Strop, have never, and am not intending to leave ArmorGames at any point.
2) I, Strop, am a medical student in my penultimate year of undergraduate studies in Australia. Provided I pass everything, I will graduate with an MBBS (equiv. M.D.) in 2010.
3) I do in fact have a chapter written in this Story of Strop project of mine, where Strop is denounced as a fake ninja. However this is not because I have, at any point, been dishonest about myself, but rather because Strop doesn't behave much like a ninja so much as a rock-star...or so some think.
We hope... I was bot fooled, and I only replied to this thread I think twice, and never believed a word of it. There are probably many ways it can be proven that I don't know, but the most obvious is that you can't use a book to write an intelligent post, you can only write intelligent facts. There, I knew I wasn't fooled. April Fool's that stretched for one and a half days was kinda bad.

The only people who can really gloat unabashedly about it are those who actually placed their bets before the prank was called. Otherwise it will never look convincing, such is the nature of a prank.

I'm surprised Xzeno didn't catch this grammar mistake. Depending on the perspective of the sentence, this could be misuse of an aposrophe, as it may be used here to denote a plural, which is incorrect. . .but that depends o n how you're saying it.

In Denmark (and probably the other nordic countries) the entire month could be used for tricking, because it was the fooling month, and even the first of May could be used for the same purpose (the fool being known as a May cat, because the cats born in May was said to be blind or hard of seeing).
