Even if it was found before and Zega was not the original founder of it, it's still good he remembered about it and told everyone who forgot about it or never heard of it. You still gotta give him some props.
I think it was even in crimson's URL tricks guide.
yep this is accurate. I even tend to tell people about it when they ask for the community search back, although it was a guy by the name of....well _________________ that discovered it. I plan on including this in URL Tricks 2.0 though. Now I would think that someone else may have discovered this earlier then that, but plokkey a year ago I think we still had the community search option available without a URL trick in the first place, so I am going to assume you are exaggerating.
The community search engine doesn't do user names, it searches through the community forums. Also it was removed because it was inaccurate, but if you know how it works then you can get some fairly accurate searches. Also if your trying to search for someones user names there is another trick for that.
http://armorgames.com/user/usernamehere
the place that says usernamehere should be replaced with the exact username of the person you want to see the profile of.It should automatically take you to that persons profile. I am not quite sure who the first person to discover that one was though.
I would prefer to use Google search though, instead on looking at a list of hundred on forum topics.
what exactly do you put into the Google search to find certain threads in this site? I don't use Google searches because it tends to give me a whole bunch of other sites and such.
