Lets see who can get the highest score on a specific level, and game type.
The round Im picking is the third last spot, in the third area. The only usable gems are purple and cyan, so it wont rely so much on luck. Here is a screenshot of the spot: (direct link: http://img24.imageshack.us/my.php?image=81039345.jpg)
The game mode is endurance, post a screenshot of your game right before you die or at the results screen, or both. I prefer right before you die. Post your level also, so we can compare people at different levels. If you do good share tips on how you got your score for the people who are having trouble.
It was enough to give total of 56 levels in a single shot!
And this is top score I have got (was over 500 million score) until I got tired because of too high lag in game. At the end I got about 5000-10000 mana/second and had dozens of level 12-15 gems (mostly prismatic) and also one level 19 gem.
How about using gems acquired by skills then? Using gem bombs to get exactly the type of gems you want reduces the luck even more than having 2 types of gems you may get and allows using plenty of different tactics.
wow don't bother trying to whore the first level, endurance monsters get strong FAST. At wave 85 they are having 1 million hp each o.0. wave 90 now up to 2.6 million hp.
Zophia: Currently I'm at level 208 (all skills at maximum).
And the mana income is insane due to mana leeching... Put a trap with blue-red gem (with low-level red component and high-level blue component) in a trap and 2-3 orange-red gems in traps behind that (again with low-level red component and high level orange component). At start all of these should be level 3 or 4 gems and later game even level 8 or 9. The red component in all those gems is to make them hit multiple targets with a single hit (total of 4 targets with maximum skill level in splash mastery) and the slow trap is to slow down those monsters so they will stay longer in mana traps.
Then at the start use 4-6 level 1 gem bombs on first waves to make them stronger so they can survive from that slow trap and preferably die in last mana trap or pass it with low hp. But be careful not to make them too strong. If a few of those can get through and hit your tower, don't worry (unless it's sudden death), banishing them doesn't cost too much compared to the extra mana you got from those extra monsters you summoned. Later when you got more mana available, you can switch to higher level gem bombs (those summon more monsters but doesn't make those as strong).
When you have your setup done and have some spare mana, use it on mana pool spell. In a long run (especially in endurance mode), you can get mana pool spell to level 50-100 and have some level 8+ orange-red traps that has 730 firing rate, can hit 4 targets with a single shot and generate 10 * 1,5 * 5 mana/monster hit... And that's a lot of mana!
If the level doesn't have red, orange or blue gems available, then you need those skills to get some at start and you can use gem bombs to get more gems of those types by converting other gems.
