In the Beginning

Welcome to the year 3009, the Armor States of the Web Wide World was not always the way we see it today. A lush land full of technology that never messes up and everything is guarded by what we like to call Mod-bots so there is no longer fear of flame wars, or stealing of wealth via small talk(AKA spamming). No today we are going to travel back to a much simpler time when this great nation was nothing but a small group of entrepreneurs, and even though we know little about this time because of how it suddenly vanished in history and had what seems to be little if no archives we believe from our evidence that they were from the Newgrounds, now known as the Oldground Kingdom, who from what we believe wanted to create a place where they could market their manufactured goods, and make products that they could sell to the Newgrounds, and possibly to other countries that were competing as flash economic societies. We no little of what flash products look like at the time, but that they were not 5 dimensional like the ones we have today. One thing we do know was that the leader of this groups name was Dan McNeely, soon to be known as King McNeely the I, and while we have yet to find any evidence to when he died or whether he ever did as some would like to believe, we do know that he was the one to lead the small group to something much greater, but that is for later. For now though we shall tell you about the first records of our great nation. When Google Spiders still roamed the Web there was the Lands of Gondor(Man no wonder they got sued huh?)After much study we at the Armor Games Historians Guild believe to this day that it was a savage place filled with things such as orcs, trolls, and all sorts of nasty creatures, but our founding fathers managed to survive. Though the largest mystery to this day is what happened to the original camps they created there. It was not long before they somehow created the Armor Castle. No one truly knows how they accomplished it, or what motivated them to build a Castle with so very few people, but many believe that a force from another world may have intervened such as a Monolith to allow them to accomplish this feat. This place would be known as the Armorlands...

Nicely done. A great way to portray AG and GoG's early history.

wow a comment already, well thanks I remember I was once going to write a news paper type thing that would include things about Armor Games History, but for some reason I find this much more fun to write.

News paper style... I'd find it hard to do something like that. Stick with storytelling. I think it's much better that way.

well...actually unless your a time traveler from the future, then it would be more like 1014 years old. A Millennium has passed, not a century, but I suppose political correctness is not too important...oh and since I have very little else to do today I may create the second segment later today.

The Era of the Early Armorlands

Looking at records we found through other countries we have found that the Armor Castle and the founding of the Armorlands is believed to have happened at the end of 2005. At the time it is believed that the group was no larger then maybe 5 people, and may have worked with others within the Newgrounds. Not much major activity happened within the Armorlands during this time except that it generated a larger economy and forged more products, as well as imported many from the Newgrounds. It was during the year 2008 that this group finally decided to take this country and turn it into a place where people could live. Immigration at first was opened to a select few one of the most notable being kingryan who is known for the creation of the archives that we used as references to much of the later history of the Armorlands Era. The Armorlands was slowly turning itself into a civilization...

hmm right so I think the next segment should cover what it was like during the time of the Beta and going into the release of the actual site to the public. I just need to wait to get some info on what the Beta was like first.

The Beginning of a Civilization

As said in the last chapter of our documentary when we looked through some of the archives of KingRyan we found quite some interesting information about how the Great Armor City was constructed. His records begin during the time when the Armorlands were still a forested area, much of which was rarely traveled through, when people who visited the lands enticed by the flash products of the land were invited to the Armor City still being built around the Armor Castle. All they had to do was travel to a special disclosed location within the Armorlands and register themselves as citizens of the city. They could then travel throughout the city and talk to each other. Though the city was simple, and small at the time, and it population was very few. Not only that, but everyone within the City looked the same labeled by nothing but a name they chose upon registration to have labeled onto their clothes they were practically faceless in this city with nothing that could make them visually stand out from each other. So in order to fix this issue the leaders, commonly referred to as the admins, created a system of masks that its citizens could wear upon registration to help stand out from each other. At this time the rules of the hierarchy system did not exist, and these masks were open to the select few who were allowed to become citizens at the time. It is believed that in January of 2008 that this City was built and became open to the public, but its history and growth most definitely did not end there...
