This is a rather basic question that I happen to find myself asking sometimes. What is your opinion? State which you think would've come first and give a good reason as to why. I don't know if there has already been a thread on this, but I apologize if there has.

BECAUSE EVOLUTION IS A LIE

Well I believe in Evolution, that doesn't mean the egg came first.. -.-

The chicken came first in my opinion.

But how could the chicken come without the egg? And how could the egg come without the chicken? And where does the rooster come in? I suppose it came before the chicken, kind of like Adam and Eve.

The chicken. Because if it was the egg, the egg wouldn't hatch without a chicken or incubator(which they didn't have back in the past).

FOOLS

everytime something is born, it is slightly different

each chicken born is slightly different from previous chickens

so some animal that wasnt a chicken layed an egg, something more like a chicken came out, then that layed an egg, and then something with chicken DNA came out. of course, this took millions of years.

the egg came first.

Well where does he come in? I think that the chicken and rooster came first together as micro-bacterial organisms and evolved to the point where they could reproduce and make an eg. What does AG think of my logic?

A micro-bacteria is not a chicken but an egg is an egg whether it is a chicken egg or a snake egg etc. They reckon birds evolved from dinosaurs. Were dinosaurs chickens? No. Did dinosaurs have eggs? Yes.

I think the egg came 1st because there are animals there were around before the chicken that laid eggs.

Here is the story.

A large water fowl named the jungle redfowl laid an egg. Out popped the ancestor of chickens as we know today. So, the chicken did.
