I don't necessarily hate Harry Potter, I just don't care for him or his movies or his books. I would probably fall asleep if I had to read one of the books, and the movies are just..pretty weird.

I like the books. As such, I hate the movies with a passion. I'd say the same goes for LotR, but I love the LotR books AND movies.

I really do like Harry Potter.

It's a great series with a plot and interesting characters. I don't really see why people hate him. A real reason without stereotyping or cursing would be nice.
