I think it would be pretty cool if AG had a chat box where we can all just log on and chat. It would be a very effective way to communicate with each other without having to go to their page and refresh yours.
It was taken down because it was abused with spammers and people like that. Wasn't even really a chat, not much people went, and people who did just started a big spamfest. Carlie says the chat will never come back.
As mentioned. Besides, half the users would rather just talk to their little selected group of friends, so get AIM, get your friends to get it, create a group chat.
I would talk to everyone, I love interacting with people. I just disagree on how you have to leave comments and come back and check and all of that. firetail I will consider your comment. I will figure out how to make a website and a chatbox for people who play on AG.
There was once a chat box of AG, but it was killed pretty quickly due to excessive idiocy and spam. From what I know, AG has no intentions to bring back the chat system and probably would rather invest their time into making better games. Rather than makign better spam opportunities.
If you really do feel the need to start chatting with other members, try to make the first universally successful UN-official chat system. Most of them art of a xat variety (don't know what it is? TO GOOGLE!). Then go on an advertising campaign. Just make sure that it's subtle enough to get by the mods. As advertising for other sites is against the rules.

I agree, they should focus on making games and let users figure out the chat system separate from the AG site, works for me! And spammers will always find new ways to hurl their stuff into everyones faces!
Klaus made 2, as far as I know. The point is, none of them lasted longer than a month, because it just didn't get enough people going there at one time, PLUS a quarter of the times there were spam and flame fests too. There were ways of kicking them off, but that...would reach AG, the user complained, he flamed, he got reported, he got banned, yadda yadda.

I would say no to this too, because that would just be another 1000 chat boxes for AG to not keep tabs on. And yeah...the only way to ever prevent spamming or flaming is to just not let it happen in the first place.
