So, apple has now released info about their new tablet. They also talked about how the gaming on the will be something that no one has experienced yet. what do you guys think? Will apple fall for their new product?
I'll probably have most of the popular games on the ipod touch/phone.
I don't see how the gaming would be much different than that of a normal computer. Which parts would actually be different?
No flash No customization Not a OS running it
So if it's not a computer, what exactly is the iPad? It could be just a really tarted-up ebook reader, which would make sense if you consider that the iPad is competing with Amazon's Kindle.
I would of been interested in it if it weren't that Steve jobs doesn't realize that we buy the hardware not rent it. People want more power over there electronics then he gives them.
No flash is one thing that sways me against considering purchasing it. It's a tablet (designed to browse the web predominantly) and there's no flash, it doesn't make sense.
Anyway, I was fairly disappointed in it. I expected something new...not a giant iPod touch/iPhone. Gaming won't be any more revolutionary on the iPad than it has been on the iPod touch/iPhone (aka not very revolutionary - just different.)

It would be worse. At least the iPhone can be tilted around, but it seems like it would be a pain to keep rotating it just to play some random non-flash game.
i PODS HAVE GREAT Games. But if people are getting so lazy that they don't even want to walk over to the T.V. and turn on a gamestation, then I think america has problems

Are you sure? I know that you can customize it a bit. I know that it will have flash. They are still working on the features remember, its not on the market yet.(if the quote doesn't work i'm sorry, i'm a stupid new kid)
