armorkas and dexavis: wrong!!! I regularly ask people to do pushups, as part of my recommendation that people should be able to drop and do a set of 20 anytime (it's good for conditioning!) Most of them can't even do one, let alone 5.
I assume that superkillerx is talking about doing a single set without interruption or changing rhythm (otherwise my daily pushup count would be in the hundreds). I can do a set of 50 in half a minute, and most likely not much more before I dropped (like 65?) as I train for explosive power (yeah Switchfoot, my oxidative capacity's kinda gone down the gurgler).
But I can only do ten if I do 'em on my thumb and forefingers :P
