I noticed there is not a 'current users online' box on the AG site.
In the past, I've always found this useful: moderators and administrators bolded or italicised; newest/new members; users with birthdays; most members online. However, I also recognise that this is more common with forums that are 'Powered by ...' I'm not terribly familiar with programming and the likes of designing webpages, so I suppose that means I am unaware of the time/effort/money involved in creating something like this.
Overall, I was just wondering about it. In the long run, it may prove helpful and useful as far as contacting and handling members.
We used to have one. Yes, it's one of the things we used to have! It was removed. We don't know when or if it is coming back.
Also, the mods and admins are never ever online, but it's probably better just to pick the right one out of the bunch and hopefully it's the next one that happens to be around. Or figure out who are the most active and then stalk them until you have their schedule down to the millisecond.
Is there a possibility of this returning, then? I see the mods and admins have quite the load on their plate with forum suggestions and comments, but perhaps something like this could ease the stress of backtracking on profile messenger comments to find someone or something that was relevant to a task they needed to complete.
Well you could put âI'm onlineâ like some people do on their abouts, but sometimes people forget to change it to offline. If it slows down the site alot than I don't want it on here. The site is fine without it lol.
