Your going to have to learn to draw better than all that if you think anyone will want you in their team.

*Looks at your profile at age, chuckles then guesses 12.*

Try practice drawing for a couple of years till your at your porfile age then you might be pretty good at drawing/animating.

Also try not to post after yourself muliple times makes you seem disorganized and people will get angryish.

OK, Darkroot, how I hate to disagree with you(mainly cos of your experience), but that suprised me. You should know that skills in Art and Programming aren't based on age. Example = me. How old am I? 13.

As for you FutterWacken, can you show me some of your art?

I don't have much experience. But neither should that stop you from wanting to voice your opinion.

Yes I know but lets think realistically. How much experience do you theoretically have at 12 or 13? Programming takes years upon years to learn the only way people make games is they either go to school for it or dedicate themselves to it for long amounts of time.

Example = me. How old am I? 13.

I don't get your example no offense. I was scripting and playing around with python at your age, doesn't mean I was good at it. Mainly because I had no experience. Fact is do you think people post their first game they make on AG? No, not likely becuase you have to practice and even with full dedication your first game is unlikely to be good. But now you learned new thing to help you along the way.

It slightly makes me irritatedish when youngish people constantly bombard this forum thinking they can create games in a few hours and not bother reading the sticky's.

The example means:

I'm thirteen and know quite a bit of programming at this age. So should a twelve year old have bad skills?

That's not what the guy on this thread asked for. He said he can make art for games.

Ok I don't know how many 19 year olds draw stickmen but I'll believe you.

I don't know how many people are going to want stickmen and glowing effects. So here is a website for you to expand your artistic ability further.
He has quite a few good tutorials on all sorts of drawing techniques and draws it in front of you.

They were (I'm 99.999% certain on this) made by the game programmer. Who probably weren't great artists or didn't feel like putting all that much time into it, and so stick figures. Also, there's just a subgenre that's focused on stick figures. But you can still tell the difference between someone who only can draw stickmen and someone who's able to draw very well but is drawing stickmen for effect.
