Yay for literature!
Teams: In this competition we will start with 2 teams of 8. Everyone will write about a subject. I will then judge each entry. When your team loses you vote off 2 people from your team.
Scoring: I judge on a scale from 1 to 10. After all scores are added up, the team with the lower score will lose. I will show all individual scores.
The Literature Games: Once 8 people are left in the competition, you fight 1v1v1v1, in a huge arena. I will give you a basic description of the arena, and then you write about killing all the competitors in the arena. You get to choose 1 weapon to start with. This is called the Literature Games (Yes like the hunger games.) One person will survive, then you fight the winner of the other Games.
The Finale: You fight 1v1 with special powers and again one weapon of choice. Both entries are mutated so that it takes very much to kill. You will have to write about that. You also have to write about training, which is 3 days long. Again you will fight in an arena, which will be given to you.

[b]Note: The whole thing is writing. No pictures, and by fighting to the death I mean writing about fighting to the death. By training I mean writing about training, etc.
I know pretty obvious, so don't ask about it.
Note: Each round can only be so long. I will wait for you to finish, but if you take too long you will automatically be eliminated. If you know you will take long, please notify me.

Long? I think most of us here would prefer the entries to be longer. I would say it's a little short.
I was just about to say the same as possum, but in a less polite way, so its a good thing he cut in first.
Does the knowledge of me using my AG char not excite you, jdogg? :L
No supplies of any type? Darn. Because my plan made use supplies salvaged from my character's crashed space ship.
Also, needs more word count. Like, no limit.
I think no limit's a bad idea...there has to be a limit, just one that's not so short.
Why does there have to be a limit? No one's going to write a novel. Also, with a limit, I'll have to write exactly that many words. I'll use a fractured narrative if I have to. :P
The Crash
The vast ocean. The soothing waves. Deep and blue. Dolphins are diving, splashing, swimming. Your worries are swept away. It is your trip around the world cruise. as you relax and swim in the clearest pool you ever knew existed, the most stunning woman walks up and says, " Hey I don't know many things to do in the boat, can you show me around," and you agree. She tells you a little about herself. Her name is Kendra and she likes swimming, running ,and meeting new people. Then you say," My name is Greg, and I like art, building, and public speaking. You talk for awhile about your likes dislikes and whatever came up. You show her around the boat. Like the casino, the rooms, and the gift shop. You and Kendra ran into a friend named Tyler. Kendra asks," How do you know Tyler?'' You reply, "Well I know him from collage. He was my room mate." You have your friends now. As you think to yourself this will be the best cruise ever. That will change all soon enough. You go to bed at 1:00 in the morning after talking and sharing. All three of you go to be exhausted. You didnât get much sleep because you were excited to see Kendra again. The next day was a dark, drizzly, cold day. All out door events were cancelled. Everyone soon piled into the all ready crowded casino. There was more pings and sirens then ever! Kendra was the only one to win. She won 18 dollars. The light rain soon turned into heaver bigger drops. The wind grew stronger. The sea became angrier. You could not tell if it was night of day. The waves grew so big that one could capsize the boat. That is what happened. The boat soon started to tip. Slowly it filled up with water. The boat was smashed. Only a few people survived. You, Tyler, and Kendra survived. Clinging to pieces of the boat. They floated for days but for them it felt like weeks. They found some more pieces of the boat and made a raft just big enough for the three of them. They will be safe from the sharks. Then one bright sunny day Tyler yelled," Wake up, wake up! I see a island!" Sure enough there was a small island with a clump of palm trees with coconuts on one side and the other side had a rough rocky shore. In the middle of the palm trees and the rocks was a beautiful white sand beach. With there hands they paddle to the island and they land on the beach. They soon make camp near the palm trees with rocks, drift wood, and dry grass. With all that hard work making camp they realize how hungry they actually were. You shake the palm tree until one of them falls. Then Kendra hits it with a heavy rock for a few hours. It finally opens. Everybody quickly devours their share of the coconut. Tyler feels in his pocket and finds his glasses. Now they can start a fire and get clean water. They find the supplies to start a fire. They got fire real quick. Kendra asks," What are we going to put the water in?" Then you say," We will find a shell to use." So Tyler goes to the beach and finds a large colorful shell. They got water and food so they decide to go to bed for the night. In the night Kendra wakes up and says," It is warm, to warm and it smells like smoke!" She wakes everyone up and they step out side. The whole island is engulfed in flames. You scream at the top of your lungs," Oh no, it must have started by our fire. Why were we so careless!" Then Tyler says quietly, "There is no way we can stop it," Kendra mentions," The only safe place would be the beach because there is nothing that would burn there and we can wait the fire out." They write S.O.S in the sand. A plane flies over when they were sleeping. The pilot of the plane sees the fire and the message in the sand. He reports it to the police. It takes a few days before the Coast Guard to find the island. Then they arrived everybody was shocked because they did not realize that a plane flew by. The pilot that saved you was Jeff Stevens. The island could not be saved. The fire was caused by some ones fire ignited the dry grass then lit the trees surrounding area. There was a group of five people that survived just seven miles south of here. The people that survived other than you three were the captain, a cook, and a few passengers. So out of all 10,000 people on the ship only 26 of you lived. Your lives can return back to normal. There lives are back to normal and You, Kendra, and Tyler still talk about it to this very day.

Hmm. Jdogg has responded by being entirely reasonable.
I shall make my proposal more directly: Would it be okay for my character to use materials from his (crashed) starship? Because I want him to crash in a space ship, and it wouldn't make sense for him to abandon the wreckage. If not, I have a plan B.
