Okay well to me this game was Okay, I kind of expected more from Treyarch. It was good when it first came out but I got bored of it after a while. Playing Zombies, with friends, is definitly the best game mode of Black Ops (:
I'm getting tired of it quickly. Despite the fact I rarely play it, Black Ops constantly backstabs me with the MOST rediculous stupid stories a game could give.
First, I tried about 6 times creating a class with the AK74u as I have only today prestiged, the reason it took 6 bloody times is because whenever I exit the class creation, the game does not save it.
So, me and my brother are of course fairly annoyed at this... unfortunate coincidence once we find out that me assigning a STAKEOUT to the class and exiting the creation actually bloody saves. Yeah, real helpful, Treyarch.
Secondly, the Dedicated Servers are better off non-existant. Where I could add a favourite server it would essentially delete that server from any known recording I could get. I couldn't access that server from my Favourites or even from the area I found it on. The problem this poses is finding a reliable source of entertainment with both friends and the selected game mode. Bam! Too annoying.
Thirdly is my often-mentioned Frames-per-Second and Lag-spike problems. Not only has this posed a constant problem for Servers, Class creation and in-game itself, but it has also directly interfered with the renowned Theater Mode. I cannot access games played a few minutes ago (understandable), but it gets worse as it spreads as far as an HOUR. I have just gotten into Theater Mode and I am sure some of you could imagine what a snap in the *** this is now that I am unable to use it.
That's pretty much it.
Not worth the £35 I spent on it, especially considering I got much more bang for my buck with a game like StarCraft II (paying £35 for that as well).
Don't get it as a PC gamer. However Xbox is fine I have heard (unsure about PS3).
As for me. It's a much better game than Modern Warfare 2, but I still feel like I get cheated many times. It's either that, or I suck. It's probably that I suck, but nonetheless, I am starting to get bored of it.
i agree i like the game but occasionally when u get headshots on people it doesnt quite kill them and i hate how on jungle the sniper spot is the best place for using killstreaks =/

That's been different for me. I found enemies very fragile if just one bullet enters their small skull.
But that's only if it hits it, even the lower parts of their face / head doesn't count as a headshot, a flaw that needs serious fixing in many / all CoD games.
They need to make theatre collect every game your in i have noticed it aswell that if host leaves or you disconnect etc it will not save it
True, I've had many good shots with my brother in law last night and we can't get them back sadly. Also, Theater Mode, how come it doesn't let me rewind or fast forward? I can go at 4x speed but I cannot do a "chapter jump" or w/e you call it.
New patch came out that tuned the snipers (almost) back to normal! I played Combat training for about 2 hours only sniping and I was having fun... Again!
It's sad, really- turns out they didn't completely remove quick-scoping. People found out how to d quick-scoping with the variable scope, some technique that allowed them to easily snipe people.
It was OK at first, but I got bored by first prestige, and traded it in to get AC: Brotherhood, which I think is much better.

They're bringing the MW2 quickscoping back in the next Black Ops patch..
