A lot of people have been asking me when the new edition of the 'CRBWC' would finally start (and I'm sorry it took me so long...), but I wanted to make the second edition even better and more fun than the first one! ;)
(In case you wonder what the first one looked like: this is the 'CRBWC 2010'.)

After hours of fun (and stress!) in figuring out the new CRBWC schematics, the gathering of info on the participating bands and fabricating the additional pictures to it all, I'm proud of the final outcome and so, without further delay, let's kick off the 2011 edition of the

Now, some changes have been made to the second edition of this competition, so reading the rules and guidelines is something everyone needs to do, even the voters from last year's edition are advised to...

The format of this World Cup for Classical Rock Bands is based upon the organisation schematics of the Soccer World Cup. It has the same rules as the Soccer World Cup in terms of competitors proceeding through it, but it will follow a few rules of its own too.
Below is a short guide to elaborate the >binding rules

Quick question. Since "official AG Administrators and Moderators will always have a binding word" does that mean that if I say someone wins then they do? Cause I really want my favorite bands to win this time and not get beat out by less talented, but more popular groups. That was kinda chintzy imho... xD

Oh it's way more than that. Actually I love both Journey and Rush, so that one didn't bother me much. Seriously though, KISS got 4th? They are CRAP! The mighty Zep should have done better than Van Halen/Haggar, that's for sure, and CCR deserved to be way up higher on the list.

@ MRWalker82 : LOL You wish! And for that matter... so did I with the previous edition... remember me whining about VH staying behind in the 'Grande Finale'? Heheheh... xD
Anyway, to explain it for the other visitors of this thread and clear you from any charges in the future...

AG Administrators and Moderators will have a binding word when it comes to community rules and website regulations which are in effect for this thread. Any abuse will be reported to the 'official authorities' of ArmorGames.

There... better? *grins* =P

But I have to agree that there were some dissapointments for me personally when it comes to the final standings, but hey... it's the same way when it comes to the actual 'Soccer World Cup', right? People are always dissapointed when a certain nation doesn't perform as should be expected... ;)

@ parrot657, NontroppO, tehpwner, Efan and delossantosj : I'm glad you guys think it looking good and to fullfill your wish... let's get it started!!! =)

To help all you voters with who they are and what the bands participating in this group stand for, I've added some info for each of the contestants!

There's a link to their own official webpage (if existing of course) and a link to the English Wikipedia article about them, plus three of their songs they are best known for! I hope this extra info will make the voters enjoy the groups and battles and decide even better who to cast their vote for! ;)

Now, it's time for round one! *puts in mouth piece and rings the bell*

"DING... DING..."
