Lately i have been noticing that a lot of users (new users BTW) have been rating games just to get the Armor Points. This doesn't really seem fair to other users.
In my opinion it seems like a form of Spamming. Thats why i had this idea of possibly adding a 30 sec waiting period (like they have for comments and forum posts) to the Game Rating system.
I figured that someone can rate approximately (depending on Internet speed and the amount of users on the site or game at the time) 10-20 games in 60 seconds.

I agree that it is spamming - and the people that do it only do it for the points. But it's not like it matters, really. It doesn't affect many people. It'll only get you around 4,000 AP and that shouldn't bother anyone.
A waiting period for ratings games is a good idea - and keep in mind that points will be completely different in AG3, so I don't think that people will be able to get points for rating or commenting on AG3. It'll be sort of like Kongregate - with the badge/achievements system they have going on, along with the Karma/Reputation thing.

Well its not really a big thing, it just doesn't seem fair that they climb up higher in the ranks faster then the people who are working hard to abide by the rules. 4,000 AP is actually a lot of points. They should be earned over a period of time, not in just a couple days.

I am very glad the AP system will be different in AG3. Rating and commenting without points should be a good thing (if it happens).
Also, the people who have a higher rank (Wood King for example) will get more new armor points (according to Cormyn) then the users with a lower rank (like Wood Knight). That is another reason why it doesn't seem very fair.
Its more unfair for the developers that are getting false good or bad ratings so they don't know if their games are actually good. If they were to implement a waiting time, they should make it pretty long like 5-10 minutes.
agreed with u there but i also think the timer rule would be intesnely irratating if u rate games in the way you should.
1). play the game 2). think about what to write 3). write it 4). close game / keep playing.
if u close the game and go to the next game u wont be able to post a rating after u have played it. so u wud have to refresh the page until u can, which u meens u may lose game experience, or hard work if u cant save.
but ye i do agree some kind of system like that or possibly a system where u cant rate 50+ games a day would be good
however i think that no points for comments and game ratings would ruin the system, as most people wud not bother doing the rating system if it has no bonus for them aswell

Yeah, but AP doesn't matter so it shouldn't affect the people that follow the rules unless they REALLY care about the AP.

It's not fair because the wood knights don't get as much as a wood kings/queens? It is fair because the wood kings/queens have worked harder to get that AP.

You shouldn't get a bonus for rating something. This is a flash game site - most people come here to play the flash games - not get rewarded for doing so.

Oh if you know for a fact that it is in the AG3 forum, that is good enough for me. Your a honest person. Your word means alot. I wouldn't doubt it for a second.

Armor Games is for Playing flash games, that is the only purpose. Not to get armor points.

I just got an idea. If you want to rate the game, you also have to comment at the same time. If the comment is spam, than the rating is also deleted.
Uh, no. That's a bad idea. I like to play games for a few minutes then rate them when I'm done with it. I don't want to be forced to comment on the game if I don't want to. I'd rather just have it where you have a waiting period for rating a game. Then that's it, none of that stuff you suggested because I don't want to comment on every game that I play.

I tend to want to give developers feedback as to why i gave it that rating.
I wont lie, I was AP crazy, I played and Comment on every Game I played when I first started, but they slow down with time. Plus, if they play them all then they get no more points.
