Story
You are suddenly awoken by a thorough chill that pulses through your body. Half-awake, you get out of bed and begin getting dressed. You finish, but then notice something strange: the sun isn't up, yet there is an eerie light filling your room.
You explore the rest of your house and find that you are alone. No family. You step outside. Shadowy mists are flowing everywhere, and disgruntling whispers can be heard from... somewhere. A pang of fear pierces your chest when you look around and see nothing. All that is visible in any direction more than 50 feet outside of your house is a roiling blackness.

About
This is a role-playing game set in a mysterious shadowy realm.

Gameplay
Up to 7 players will be accepted. Players will engage it battles with enemies that I determine. Players will request their actions to me during a battle, and I will do appropriate calculations. Players start at level 1, and will receive experience (XP) to level up for doing damage to enemies, defeating an enemy, and winning a battle (though there may be more).
Outside of battle, I will provide some guidance, but overall the players will request what to do. There are innumerable actions players can choose. When one player suggests an action, I will either post it for players to agree with or shoot down, and if a player consensus has already been reached, I will tell what happens as a result of the players' actions. If the players wish to separate and explore separately, that is fine, they need only request it. However, the hordes of enemies players encounter will NOT be weakened for a solo player.

I've been busy, then I got sidetracked organizing the RPG's Excel page, and then... You get the idea. But, here it is!

NEWS:

1) I've finalized in-battle ability effects. If I have any doubts, I'll check with you.

2) I'm working on getting skills going. I should have the motivation to-- *cough* I mean, the necessary information gathered to implement them soon. ;D

You begin climbing, but the rocks are conniving. What seems like a firm grip may actually be a concealed crack waiting to break upon your grasp. After some toil, you arrive at the peak of the rocky dog pile.

Looking down, you see that the jagged outer appearance is not mimicked in the slightest. All the way back down to the sandy floor, the rocks are smooth and polished. Your eyes greedily trace the visible extent of the wall, searching for impurities, but finding none. It would appear that the rocky wall creates some sort of bowl, if the circular pattern you assume the rocks follow continues for a full circle...

I'll walk around the outer lip of the bowl. If I fall down, then it doesn't look like I can get back up. Plus, this'll give me the option of climbing back down if need be.

"we should be carefull" i will cast fire on his katana and light on my hand so we can see better while we go through the mist. its also a good way to prepare for battle

Since attacking them seems to be doing no good, I'll wait and see what happens.

[So far? I'd say 8/10. Coming from me, that's rather good. One point because you can't really post every day, and another because, well, every game can be improved. After we get skills, we'll see if it goes down to only half a point. *subtle hint* ]
