I think i'll surprise everyone and say that I don't have a religion, and no I am not atheist. I think that all things going on in the universe happen because there is scientific based reason for it to happen.

I could care less about what happens after I die because I don't worry about that point in time. I prefer to live in the present and the immediate future.

Well, an Atheist is technically not a religion

Usually on these forums I've seen that Atheist is a loose term and generally only means the lack of belief in a religion. Under this definition, MasterC2010, you are an Atheist. There are many ways to believe a scientific path - and most them don't relate to the majority of people, for example Pantheism.
Atheism / Darwinism are the most renowned terms but their meaning isn't generally perfectly known - hell, I regard it the same these forums usually do, it's just those terms that are used the most.

What I meant was a complete lack of spiritual belief and religious ideals. Besides, I don't follow the way other people on these forums see me as, I just live my life without thinking about religion or atheism.

If you lack positive belief in God, you are an Atheist.

I should have said "deity" not "God".

I guess I'd fall under the Atheist category. I'm more of a nihilist than anything, though.

I read it. And the way you are describing yourself makes you sound like an atheist. Here's a questionnaire.
Do you actively believe in a deity?

Yes, no, I don't know/I don't care

Picked yes? Theist
Picked no? Atheist

Picked I don't know/I don't care
Follow up question

Do you do anything in your life that acknowledges a belief in a deity? (praying, meditating, etc.)

Yes? Theist.
No? Atheist.

Who cares as long as you believe in Christ and allow him to clear your record and do what you can to please him afterwards then its basically two big religions Believers, and people who don't.

(praying, meditating, etc.)

Meditating isn't always religious. Mental states can always effect your physical state and your physical state can effect your mental state.

Example of mental state being effected - sometimes in a debate you view the argument as self-defense, either against the person or defending your beliefs and this mental state can kick in a physical chemical reaction which happens in life-threatening issues and etc.
It makes you irrational, and tunnel-visioned. The reason why is because as any other animal your top priority is SURVIVAL.

Doesn't that make sense? :P

Yes... off-topic, but what is there to say in this thread? I'm one of this forums common interpretation of Atheist - I hold no belief in religion.
Does that mean I'm done with this thread? I shouldn't be

@JoeBlade
Why are you arguing on whether or not I'm] atheist? Shouldn't one's religion or view on religion be affected by themselves?

And I do believe that your arguments are digressing from the topic of this thread. If I may ask, what do you believe in?

You just seemed to not know what an atheist is.
If I may ask, what do you believe in?

In terms of religion? Nothing.
